Sean Buckhout is a 2015 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from West Nyack, NY who attends Don Bosco Prep. Large, athletic frame with a strong build. Behind the plate shows accurate, downhill throws to second. Gains ground on throws well and shows a quick transfer and release. Fluid, athletic actions defensively with good catch and throw skills. Stays low fielding in the infield, moves well laterally, and shows an accurate arm across. Right handed pitcher who throws from an easy, high three quarter arm slot. Simple mechanics with steady temp, fastball topped at 84 mph with occasional arm side run and riding life. Good feel for both an 11/5 curveball and a change up with fade low in the zone. Right handed batter with a short, strong swing and shows good bat speed. Line drive swing plane with hard contact and good potential with the bat. Named to Top Prospect List and Team. Good student.
