Isaiah Carranza is a 2015 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from La Verne, CA who attends Damien. Tall, long lanky build with a lot of room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a long arm action. High leg kick to delivery, quick arm, good arm action, consistent and comfortable velocity in the 83-84 mph range on fastball, good extension out front, projects for increased velocity. Lands open, could generate a touch more velocity at present with more consistent timing and improved use of front side. Quality physical tools, keeps changeup low. Big depth on 11-5 curveball with good potential. Very good student.
