Matthew Tadlock is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Bushnell, FL who attends South Sumter High School. Medium build with an athletic frame and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.30 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, threw from a high three quarter arm slot with good balance and extension towards the plate. Tight, compact delivery and did well to create some plane in the lower third with heavy life to his fastball. Also showed the ability to elevate with riding life up and out of the zone at 78-81/82 mph. Very fluid on the mound and repeated well and mixed in a sharp biting curveball at 70 mph. Mixed his fastball and curveball with a changeup at 77 mph and got to both sides of the plate. Exceptional student.
