Andy Cosgrove is a 2014 C/SS, 3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Kirkland, WA who attends Juanita. Tall, lean athletic build, looks the part. Blocks well behind the plate, good in-game defense behind the plate, receives well, strong arm behind the plate with quick feet. Also showed well in the outfield where his arm was also an asset, online throws with good accuracy, projectable arm strength, raw infield actions but soft hands and has a chance to develop there as well, though best upside is behind the plate. Strength in swing, short load, loose hands with good bat speed and projects for more as he gets stronger, good use of lower half, good extension through contact, doubles power, gap to gap approach with potential to develop home run power. Good student.
