Carl Guidry is a 2014 OF/ with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Denham Springs, LA who attends Denham Springs. Large frame, lean athletic build. Long swing creates leverage, flashed good power, just missed a home run to the pull side with a shot off the top of the tall fence in right field. Power approach at the plate leads to swing and miss at times, likes the ball in with a pull approach. Long loose arm action in the outfield, projectable arm strength, covers a lot of ground, runs well, posted a 6.68 60 yard dash time. Excellent student.
