Cash Case is a 2017 SS/UT with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Mount Dora, FL who attends The First Academy. Very strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Left handed hitter with a switch-hitting background, big leg raise trigger, gets coiled and loaded well, stays on time, uses his strong lower half in his swing, lots of raw bat speed and hand quickness, has lift in his swing and showed his power consistently, ball comes off the barrel hard, has a feel for hitting and the tools to execute it. 7.05 runner, second base tools and actions but will be an offensive plus at that position, gets ride of the ball quickly and has plenty of arm strength for the position. Bat really stood out. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Notre Dame. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
