Justin Dahill is a 2016 1B/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Saint Petersburg, FL who attends St Petersburg Catholic HS. Well proportioned and strong athletic build, square shoulders, has room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, upright open stance, simple upper half rotational swing, limited lower half use, swing is fluid with good extension and some lift out front, looks to pull and will occasionally hit around the ball, lots of future bat speed possible with increased lower half use. Showed polished actions and footwork at first base defensively, fundamentally strong, has good arm strength and a quick release and makes accurate throws, will be an asset at first base defensively.
