Brenton Burgess is a 2015 3B/SS/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Lithonia, GA who attends Chamblee Charter HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build with room to fill. Hits from an open stance, rotational swing with good bat speed and strength at contact, quick hands. Multi-homer batting practice session, creates good lift with swing, good power to pullside, medium length swing path, attacks the baseball out front. Strong arm, threw event best 91 mph across the infield, good accuracy on throws, good athleticism to defensive actions, hands work well. Pitches from an over the top arm slot with a short arm action, live arm, aggressive pitching approach, sharp downhill plane. Named to the National Underclass Main Event top prospect team.
