Stumpo is a 2005 C from Wilmington, DE with a solid 6'2"/195 pound body. As a hitter, he hits from a quiet stance, with quick hands and a level swing. He made solid contact and showed some good power during the games. He has a good knowledge of the strike zone and he has good bat control. Behind the plate, he showed good feet with balanced lateral movement. He has soft hands and receives the ball well. He has a strong 76 mph arm down to 2b with good accuracy. His pops were very consistent with a 1.94 best. He has good skills and will be a solid college catcher. Bob is a fairly good student.
