Mark Contreras is a 2013 2B/SS with a 6-0 156 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Canyon Springs. Contreras has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He has good hands defensively with solid transfers. Contreras has some arm strength with some carry on his throws. He has solid actions defensively and moves well to his glove side. At the plate, Contreras starts with a high hand set and swings on a line drive plane. He has some bat speed and showed some pop. He has a pull approach and showed some power potential. Excellent student.
