Roman Garcia is a 2013 3B/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Eastlake. Garcia has a large frame with a solid build and room to fill. He has quick transfers and a quick release defensively with developing footwork. He has developing arm strength with developing actions. At the plate, Garcia starts with a square narrow stance and has an aggressive approach. He swings on a line drive path and makes consistent contact. He gets good extension in his swing and showed some pull side pop. Garcia generates bat speed and showed a good swing in games. Very good student.
