Blake Wiggins is a 2014 SS/C/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Pulaski Academy. Strong mature build, especially in the lower half. Showed athletic actions and good footwork behind the plate considering repetitions, plenty of arm strength, received the ball cleanly, 1.88 best pop time, accurate throws. Has the tools to play third base as well. Right handed hitter, good weight shift, pretty short hand path to the ball, strong swing with loft pull power, tends to open his front side early, has present bat speed. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.
