Ridge Smith is a 2013 C/MIF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Cordova, TN who attends Germantown HS. Short and compact with some present strength. 7.00 runner, versatile athlete defensively, quick actions behind the plate, quick exchange, good arm strength, low flexible receiver, 1.89 best pop, can improve further with better footwork. Very good range at second base, good arm strength, can make the athletic play, soft enough hands. Right handed hitter, easy load, loose tension free swing, line drive swing plane, hits the ball out front, looks to pull, can get rotational and grooved at times. Good student.
