Alex Real is a 2011 C/3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Pinnacle HS. Solid athletic build, very good present strength. Spread stance hitting, long aggressive swing, looks to lift and pull, good present bat speed, good balance despite length, good hitting rhythm, looks to pull, ball comes off bat hard, good game swings. New to catching, former middle infielder, good actions for experience, consistent exchange, good arm strength, 1.82 best pop, showed nice defensive tools at third base, 7.22 runner with some lower half life, versatile defender. Very good student.
