Max Stassi is a 2009 C/IF/OF with a 5'10'', 187 lb. frame from Yuba City, CA who attends Yuba City HS. Stassi is solid bodied athletic catcher who can do it all. He is very good defensively, excellent receiver and top level catch and throw skills. He has very good arm strength and popped a 1.76 in the workout. He is not just a defensive catcher as he can really hit. He has strong hands at the plate and the ball jumps off his ba in a hurry. He creates good bat speed and drives the ball to all fields. He is very polished at the plate and projects even more to come. He also ran a 6.8 60 and with all the gaudy workout numbers, he's even better in the games. Stassi is fun to watch and a top level follow in the 2009 draft class. He is a good student and has made a verbal commitment to UCLA. Aflac All American
