David Denson is a 2013 1B with a 6-4 240 lb. frame from La Puente, CA who attends South Hills HS. Extra large build, very strong, has firmed up some over the last year. 7.27 runner, moves well for his size, very good arm strength for first base, big target. Left handed hitter, busy load, especially in the lower half, high back elbow, big stride into contact, long power swing, mid field to opposite field contact, has raw bat speed and power potential. Good student, verbal commitment to Hawaii.
