Lee Ridenhour is a 2008 RHP with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Shawnee Mission West HS. He has a tall and angular body with some present strength. Ridenhour throws from a tall delivery with a high leg kick to start things off and a somewhat stiff front side on release. Loosening up his delivery and landing could get him better extension out front. Ridenhour's arm works well. His fastball was up to 90 mph and pretty straight. His best pitch was a 78 mph slider that had a deep 2-plane break to it. We didn't see a change up. Ridenhour is a very good athlete who can run (6.98) and swing the bat. He showed bat speed and power potential with a long, leveraged swing and could be a two-way prospect at the college level if he clean up his hitting mechanics somewhat. Ridenhour is very good student off the field.
