2005 Ohio Valley Top Prospect
Erik Miller is a 2006 RHP/3B 1B from Fairport High in Fairport, NY, with a 6'1'', 210 lb. frame. He has a thick and mature build and very good present strength. Miller throws from a low angled drop and drive delivery with an overhand release point and finishes well out front. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with some downhill angle at the plate. Miller's 67 mph curveball had 12/6 downer spin and bite. His 67 mph change up was his best secondary pitch with some sinking action. Miller commanded all his pitches well and had an idea how to pitch. He has the tools and skills to pitch at the next level.
