Carson Goldsmith is a 2009 C/OF with a 6'0'', 168 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Austin HS. Long slender frame. Good agility defensively, quick hands/feet, good arm strength, accurate throws, 1.96 best pop, raw mechanically but good tools. Contact hitter, handle the bat head well, solid mid field contact, can shorten swing. Also pitches, FB to 84 mph. Defense carries. Very good student.
