CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The 2013 signing deadline for this year's draft was at 5:00 pm EST on Friday, July 12, and 41 of the 57 former Perfect Game All-Americans that were drafted this year ended up signing with the teams that selected them.  Excluding four players whose signing bonuses had not been revealed (John Magliozzi, Shane Rowland, Jacob Morris, Ricky Jacquez), the collective total that these players signed for was $52,700,980.  That is an average of over $1.42 million per player.

The highest drafted PG All-American, Kris Bryant, the No. 2 overall pick of the Chicago Cubs, agreed to terms two days prior to the deadline for over $6.7 million.  The highest drafted players among those that participated in the 2012 Classic, Kohl Stewart and Clint Frazier, the drafts Nos. 4 and 5 overall selections, signed for $4,554,400 and $3,500,000 respectively.

Since the game's inception in 2003, 132 players have been drafted in the first round, and over 70 have made their MLB debut, including the most recent players to enjoy a big-league promotion, Grant Green and Sonny Gray of the Oakland Athletics.  Seven PG All-Americans will also suit up for this year's All-Star Game at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets: Bryce Harper, Buster Posey, Andrew McCutchen, Matt Harvey, Madison Bumgarner, Jose Fernandez and Freddie Freeman.

Over the last five drafts, 79 former PG All-Americans have been taken in the first round, including the No. 1 overall pick for three years in a row in Bryce Harper (2010), Gerrit Cole (2011) and Carlos Correa (2012).  That total number extends to over 100 the last seven drafts (2007-2013).

Here are the Perfect Game All-Americans selected in the 2013 MLB Draft and the bonuses they signed for, if they signed.  For the players that didn't sign, their college commitment (or the school they attended in 2013 for returning college players) is listed in parenthesis.
