Rustan Rigdon (‘24, Ga) is a presence. 6-0, 185-pound athletic build that was effective today on the mound. He pitched 4 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, and 0 BB in relief. Efficiently controlled the strike zone. In his outing today, he missed barrels and changed speeds beautifully. Got ahead of hitters. Early fastballs sat between 84-86 mph, then into the upper 80s. Great feel for a barrel-missing, downer curveball. He has a lot of swing and misses and poor contact, thus his out pitch is the breaking ball. Committed to Vanderbilt.   

Connor Mattison ('23, Ga) is a powerful pitcher who enjoys competition. Intimidates hitters while they are in the box. Incredible 6-2, 205-pound build with exceptional athleticism that plays even better in game settings. 7 IP, 2 H,
