Lamar Edwards (2025, Lake Helen, Fla.) continued on with his torrid hitting for Scorpions 2025 Scout, now hitting .727 on the tournament (8-for-11). Obviously strong and physical, the left-handed bat has time and time again posted loud exit velocities, with the ball just coming off the bat different. He produced two loud barrels for hits in the first game of the afternoon and followed up with another in the first round of the playoffs. Edwards impacts the ball out front with easy strength and covers the top of the zone well. The Florida native is confident and under control in the box, and the swing is pretty simple. Edwards’ power projects in a big way and there is serious juice and upside to tap into.
