It isn’t a surprise why Anderson Lambert (2027, Laurel, Md.) is ranked as the No. 1 outfielder in his state for the ‘27 class, as the athleticism and natural ability was put on display in his two-game appearance during the shortened Central PA Fall Super Qualifier. Starting on the offensive end, the still-developing 5-foot-9, 145-pound righty used a narrower, slightly open stance at the dish with a quiet, compact hand set to start. The bat path remained level through contact with the ability to see the ball deep and successfully use the opposite field to his advantage. Lambert controlled the barrel well and has increasing pop that will continue to see more and more prominence as the righty matures. Switching to the defensive side, he worked through the ball well, covering ground effortlessly with arm strength present behind throws. Young prospect to keep an eye on in the coming years.
