Dartmouth commit Nate Isler (2023, Milton, Ga.) was dominant in the quarterfinals for Georgia Bombers 17u Marucci in their 3-0 victory. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound right-handed pitcher tossed six shutout innings, allowing only one hit, and striking out five. Isler commanded the fastball to both corners well, running it up to 87 mph in the early going and holding in the mid-80s throughout. The Milton native also showed advanced feel for a 11-5 shaped breaking ball that he could land for strikes consistently. He has a dominating mound presence and uses his long levers to create extension on all pitches. He repeated his mechanics well and pounded the zone, resulting in a 68% strike-rate. Isler is one of the most physically impressive arms in the entire country and showed just how dominant he can be. Look for him to continue this streak if he can continue to pound the zone with his advanced arsenal.
