Central Elite Scout Notes: Days 1-2

Josh Arquette (2024, Kingwood, Texas) has looked really locked in at the plate during the first two days of the Central Elite Championship. In his first game, he blasted a home run to left field to collect two RBI and, in his second game, he had a couple hits one of them being a double off the left field fence. Arquette is a very physical hitter that has proven that he has real power to pull side. He has a drop in his hands during his load, but he works them well enough to consistently make loud contact. He gets the bat through the zone fast and generates a lot of pop from that and his lower half. In the field, he made a couple nice plays at third base showing some nice athleticism and arm strength. Arquette is a big power presence in any lineup and continues to project as a slugging corner infielder.
