Ali Banks (2023, Stone Mountain, Ga.) has put together a solid week at the plate, hitting .375 with two singles, a triple, five RBI, and has also stolen two bags on the weekend. The swing is simple and efficient, creating good jump off the barrel to all fields. Banks creates good separation in the hands and showed good barrel control, going down to get a breaking ball and hammer it to the opposite field for a triple. The Parkview product continues to show his versatility in the field, playing the outfield for a majority of the tournament but also playing second base in Sunday’s action. The hands are smooth with clean actions and projects as a nice utility player at the next level with his ability to play everywhere on the field. Tons of things to like about Banks as he finished up the day going 1-for-2 with the triple and two RBI in Sunday’s victory.
