13u Florida World Series Recap

To say Chase Fuller (2027, Tallahassee, Fla.) dominated this weekend would be an understatement. The Florida Dodgers 13U Scout Team steamrolled their way to the Florida World Series Championship and Fuller led the charge with a ridiculous .938/.947/2.947 slash line. The twitchy athlete has the frame evaluators look for in his 6-foot, 165-pound build. Fuller is high-waisted with broad shoulders and extra-long limbs that will no doubt fill out as he matures. At the plate, he punished any ball that was near the strike zone, and sometimes he barreled pitches that weren’t even close. His feel for the barrel and accuracy with it are off the charts. Fuller attacks baseballs from an even, wide base and utilizes a soft toe tap trigger to sync up his timing. His hands are held high with his back elbow up and his bat is coiled towards the pitcher. The quietness with his feet and body allows him to be on time often. Most of Fuller’s hits went to the opposite field and clanged up against the right-center field fence. This speaks volume to the advanced approach he has at just 13 years old.
