KJ Anderson (2027, Cookeville, Tenn.) is really developing into quite the ballplayer, as the body matures he is gaining significant pop. The left-handed swing is as smooth as they come, loading well into the backside with a quick, direct path to the baseball. Plate discipline is ahead of his years, multiple times working deep into counts and punishing mistakes in the pull-side gap. Additionally, was real solid behind the plate showing good hands and decent lateral movement on balls in the dirt. The arm strength is the one tool that could use some improvement, but I have no doubt this is just a start of the blossoming of this talented young prospect.
