David McSweeney is a 2022 LHP with a 6-5 175 lb. frame from Cohasset, MA who attends Cohasset. Extra-large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and present strength proportioned throughout, additional room to grow and fill throughout. Ran an 8.06 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher, begins with a hip turn at top of delivery, comes down the mound well and works downhill some from a low three-quarters release point. Fastball gets on hitters with some two-seam action up to 81 mph, loose and whippy arm action through the back. Flashed both a curveball up to 69 mph and a changeup up to 70 mph with occasional fade, will continue to refine both pitches and maintain consistent release on each. Very good student.
