Nathan Tardo is a 2025 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends Archbishop Hannan. Recorded a 7.55 second sixty-yard dash time. Compact, high waisted frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Primary shortstop with a developing defensive skill set. Displayed proper footwork into the fielding process, while ranging fairly well to both sides and using a slight waist bend to field. Works uphill to throw, staying on top of the baseball well and recorded arm strength up to 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works with deliberate pace to his delivery, a slightly coiled leg lift into balance and a short stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 76 mph in this look from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in developing breaking ball that varied in shape between a traditional curveball and slurve. Proficient strike thrower with developing command of the strike zone, will continue to improve with additional velocity and refinement of his secondary offering. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a deep hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with inside-out swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Displayed best impact with occasional line drive to right centerfield gap, will improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Plenty of projection remaining. Excellent Student.
