Josue Figueroa is a 2023 SS/C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Sun Prairie, WI who attends Sun Prairie. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Switch-hitter, spread from right side with high hands, quickness to hands with more steep path, short swing; showed looser and more fluid stroke from the left side with more power behind the swing, good rotation with pull-side pop. Primary shortstop, shows lateral agility, hands work out front, full several step load up into throws, clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Also worked out behind the plate, good set, receives well, long stride out that gets a little off balance, showed accuracy to bag. Very good student.
