Ethan Armbruster is a 2027 RHP/C/SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westlake. A taller frame and medium build. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked with a leg lift up around the letters before working down the mound and throwing from a high three-quarters ar slot. He created some whip to the arm and had some strength in the lower half as he drives down the mound. The fastball worked up to 87 mph and held the mid-80s with some arm-side life to it. The pitch runs arm-side and was able to play up in the zone to get whiffs. Had good life to it. Showed an upper-60s curveball with 12-6 depth to it and a slider in the mid to upper-70s with 10/4 shape to it. He threw 2 and 2/3 innings with 3 hits against, no runs, and 5 strikeouts. Also worked out as an infielder with accurate throws to first, moving well up the middle. Threw 80 mph across the infield during his round. Moved low to the ground during his round. Made a couple of nice plays with the glove during the games as well at second base. Also worked out as a catcher. Sets up with a side saddle and then works through the throwing motion with some strength behind the throws. Quick to get rid of it. Threw 75 mph down to second with a 1.97 pop time. Arm strength showed during his round of throws working out of the crouch. Excellent student.
