Luis Santana is a 2020 C/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Escuela Ladislao Martinez. Recorded a 7.82 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, physical frame with some well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary catcher with a solid and sure set up and lots of balance. Soft and sure hands who gains ground well. Longer arm stroke and is very accurate with arm strength recorded up to 74 mph with a best pop time of 2.07 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Line drive and middle of the field approach and has a short, inside swing to the baseball. Works the ball around the entire field well and has a solid approach. Good student.
