His 68 mph 11/5 hybrid breaking ball shows sweeping break and is a solid secondary pitch. His tempo and rhythm allow Tyler to have solid pitch-ability. There is an easy glide to his stride and his quick trigger allow his strong hands to get his barrel to and through contact with routine and loud force. The ball jumps off his bat. He flashed enough raw power to dictate that he can, and will be, a middle of the order, run producing college prospect as a hitter. Tyler has a few more years to work on the improvement that should make him an advanced athlete as a prep player. Exposure to higher level competition, along with a sound and certain strength and conditioning program, should make Tyler a certain college prospect.
