Chase Ingram is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Pleasant Hill, CA who attends IMG Academy. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, moves well away from the bag and maintains balance, fast turns, shows present arm strength on throws with the comfort to throw accurately from multiple slot with carry. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a short stride moving into contact with lower half. Looks to incorporate physical strength into swing, gets downward with path at times, best when extended out front, shows the ability to work to all fields with present jump off of the barrel, carries to the gaps well. Very good student.
