Connor Fuhrman is a 2022 OF/2B/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Daleville, VA who attends Lord Botetourt. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 6.83 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, comes to the ball and maintains balance well, fields the ball out front and works through it, full arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point, shows one hop accuracy on throws to intended base and keeps throws low out of hand. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; showed balance at the plate and consistently found the barrel in live action, squared up balls consistently and showed strength at the point of contact with a double and an inside the park home run. Longer swing path through the zone, hands work well in swing, looks to work towards the middle of the field on a linear path. Very good student. Verbal commitment to South Carolina.
