Jake Schope is a 2019 RHP/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Heritage. Medium build, lean and athletic frame, some strength present with more room to fill. Ran a 7.23 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step into delivery, high leg lift above waist line into delivery, stay tall on back side, clean windup with a loose arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot, online delivery with drop and drive actions, uses lower half well with good back leg drive, would like to see release point repeated more frequently for added command, showed a three pitch mix, fastball sat in the upper-70s to low-80s, throws an 11-to-5 curveball that showed good depth when released out front and on top, mixed in a changeup as well with similar arm speed to fastball and would like to see thrown more often. Righthanded hitter, open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, toe tap trigger, deep hand load, short hand path to the baseball with some quickness, lower half stays mostly linear, displayed consistent contact to to all fields.
