Paul Christopher is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Merrick, NY who attends Kellenberg Memorial High School. Large frame, compact, athletic build, and room to continue to fill out physically. Primary left handed pitcher, bigger leg raise over waist, hides ball well, crossfire element to delivery, tall through backside, short, compact arm action, and threw from an extended three quarter arm slot. Stiff front leg at landing, low effort delivery, and held fastball velocity well. Fastball showed sink to the lower third of the zone, flashing angle at 72-74 mph and showed cut when working glove side. Developing command of fastball, but generated weak contact and was effective around zone. Showed changeup at 70 with short sink.
