Dylan Matela is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Milton. Big build, projectable frame with a nice pitcher's body. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched at the event, starts windup with a simple side step up to a high leg lift, arm really works well from a full arm action up to an over the top arm slot, generates good arm speed before releasing the baseball cleanly, lands on stiff front leg, good mound presence and command during outing. Fastball sat in the mid-80s consistently and topped out at 88 mph, fastball showed some late life occasionally, showed feel for his curveball that he commanded well and was very effective during outing. Great student. Named to 2018 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.
