Reid Raper is a 2027 RHP/IF/OF with a 5-9 138 lb. frame from Nettleton, MS who attends Nettleton. Medium, lean build with good strength to project on down the road. Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, belt high leg lift, front foot lands slightly open, medium arm swing with a high three-quarters slot. Low effort delivery, solid arm speed for the age. Fastball has some arm-side run to it, up to 77 mph (2093 RPM). Mixed in a curveball with bigger depth, up to 66 mph (2141 RPM). Worked out in the outfield, solid actions on the charge, works through the ball well with one hand on the side of the body, has a good arm as well, recorded throws up to 77 mph. Also worked out in the infield, good energy and intent to the movement, showed ability to lower slot up the middle, clean actions for the age, good arm strength in this round as well, throws up to 72 mph. Right-handed hitter, wide and even base, uphill bat path through the zone, good bat speed, fast hands. Got the barrel extended often and impacted the ball to the pull-side, good foundational swing to build on as he gets stronger. Excellent student.
