Austyn Peak is a 2023 SS/2B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Dupont Manual. Recorded a 6.64 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing advanced speed. High-waisted and projectable frame with a lean build. Primary shortstop with a ton of range, moves well laterally and shows very quick feet. Has plenty of agility and twitch to his game and his hands and feet sync up well. Has present body control with a good fundamental base and a clean glove, good defensive showing overall. Right-handed hitter with an even stance and a low hand and back elbow set. Utilizes a small stride forward and a flat bat path through the zone. Limited bat to ball skills at present, was spinny at times and tended to pull his head. Has some things to work on offensively but is a good athlete with a great chance to improve. Great student.
